Waking up in such early morning is fresh to me, at least i never done that for the near 6months for the sack of capturing Sunrise. After hot discussion with members/Geng in UMS Photographers, we decided to do a photo outing to Sg Mengkabung/ Tuaran Bridge, and continue to Tuaran Morning Market. Everything went smooth when we met up on time and depart on time. The weather isn't very nice to us today, what i mean is the mood of the sky wasn't too clear for a beautiful landscape. Though i still manage to capture a few pictures, hope you will like it.

Before the Sunrise
We arrived the place around 520AM, when the sky is still dark, i manage to compose and took a few pictures before the sun rise. Even it's 5AM in the morning but there were people fishing under the bridge, and some riding on boats to go work perhaps? Luckily the bridge is not too busy, else it will be very dangerous for us to capture at the side walk.
During the Sunrise
After the Sunrise
Fish Farm near Sg Mengkabung, there were some wonderful reflection on the water, when the water is still. Personally i like this photo a lot, sometime landscape is not always about wide angle, i took this using a 50mm prime lens and i love the result.
The only group photo we have, without Edmund =P
Soon after the sun rise, weather got warmer and we decided to move on for a nice breakfast before lepak at Tuaran Morning Market. Headed out to search for local Tuaran noodle but unfortunately most of the chinese shops were closed. Thus we settled down in a malay restaurant for some nasi Lemak and teh tarik! This time i got to know Edmund more about his job, his background, and etc. Its a good Teh Tarik session i'd say!
First glance in Tuaran was friendly people everywhere. We kickstart our street shooting with a fresh chicken vendor, he was kind enough to hold the chicken for us to photograph without discomfort. I can feel it will be a good day ahead.
This seller sell real "fresh" village chicken in the morning market.
Bokeh!

Smokey-licious
"Oh man, don't pick me don't pick me, i don't want to die young"
How much money were spent for BN's publicity?

Children in average family seems to be more mature, they helping the mother out in such young age.
Another kid from the family, selling gingers.

I snap his photo when he turned around and smile to me!
"Im just, a little bit tired"
i have no idea if she wear this for the sack of free T-shirt of she's a true supporter of Barisan National?
People: "Stop Killing the shark!" Small fishes:"NO! kill it before it destroy us!"
Wonder if these old man are all time old friends? Grow up with snooker?
Pilot Billiard Saloon?
Sincerity in her smile, don't you think so?
Every children were born in different families, thus it is glad that everyone here earn money with their capability, instead of begging or ask for money from visitors and tourists. I did not encountered any beggar in Tuaran Morning market throughout my visit!
3 good friends. Mi-Re-Do

There are so much to be explore, this morning market is bigger than the one i last visited ( Dongongon Tamu). I realize i left too little time to explore the remaining part of Sabah, thus i wish i could do photo shooting in part of the state every week to fulfill my wish before i got back to the peninsular. How i wish i can stay here longer, children are naive, adult are friendly, i started to love this peaceful land, again.

A short, yet fulfilling mid semester break. A week holidays have made me live again from tonnes of workloads and exhausts from school. Feeling just like school reopen after months of holidays.

Welcome alive!

This time i got to spent my time with my family, staying in the house accompanying them all the time. Taking care of the babies, make them laugh, make them shut up, and then hypnotize them! Since i got my camera gear with me back to Klang, i guess i should play with it and create some beautiful memories for my nieces, and for myself. The Nikon 50mm f1.4D never disappoints me, it create really beautiful image quality. Apart from that, the Yongnuo 560 I did splendid job as a manual flash and im glad that i got it for like 200bucks? Flash refresh rate was quick, powerful output, simply awesome.
Backlit the flash to highlight her hair and skin tone.
Remembering once, i had the idea of selling the D7000 i own in exchange to buy the Olympus EM5. I felt awkward to bring awfully heavy camera everywhere to shoot photographs. Til now i realize the image quality on DSLR, is just fantastic with many affordable lens and flash accessories available in the market. Glad that i did not make that move, and im happy owner of DSLR again.
Visited my grandpa, and i guess i should make some good memory for my mum too.
Qi En - My first niece, very intelligent girl that always surprise us with her new learning. It is enjoyable to see her grow, from baby, learn to walk, to talk, and making us laugh. She love to stick to my mum every single moment. Unless you have candies or you gonna bring her to "Giant" (Her favorite place to visit!). No one can help when she cries, but only my mum can make her stop crying. Her existence brings a lot of joy, cherish, and annoyed (when she cries) moments in our family. She can now speak in sentences, and also can sing many songs, such fast learner at the age of 2.
Messy Bokeh?

Mum spent 90% of her time taking care of these babies, A++ baby sitter =)
Sibling photo, maybe we should come back once in a year to take picture!

3D ice age.

Liyi became Baby sitter too

I captioned this as "Make a wish", but what she trying to do was "Gong Xi Fa Cai"
My mum, greatest women that raised her children, and now her grandchildren.

Spend time with your family while you can. No one can predict what might happen next moment. Argue with me only if you can afford to lose someone you really care and love. I love my mum, Happy Mother Day in Advance. I love my mum, and i know everyone of you do too!
